Hey guys então como estão? Já faz algum tempo que não vos escrevo, tenho andado mesmo muito ocupado sem tempo nenhum para vir ao blog por causa do estágio, do ginásio que me ocupa a maior parte do tempo e quando chego a casa é mesmo só para dormir!
Hoje trago-vos um post da minha aquisição mais recente, o Dead Island Riptide!!!!!! É simplesmente incrível... Gráficos excelentes, jogabilidade interessante, muito sangue e momentos de cortar a respiração com jumpscares!
Aqui vai um pequeno resumo do que é o jogo:
Riptide tem lugar imediatamente após o término de Dead Island, com os quatro sobreviventes imunes - o ex-jogador de futebol americano Logan Carter, o rapper Sam B, agarçonete do Banoi Hotel Xian Mei e a ex-policial Purna - pousando em um navio militar depois de escapar da ilha-prisão. Entretanto, são apreendidos e imediatamente conduzidos à força até uma área de quarentena, sob custódia do tenente-coronel das Forças Armadas da Austrália Samuel Hardy e do civil Frank Serpo. Yerema, a nativa anteriormente resgatada em Dead Island, é separada do grupo. Os quatro são levados ao laboratório do navio, onde são sedados. Após recobrarem a consciência, encontram um outro sobrevivente imune, o ex-sargento das Forças Armadas australiana John Morgan, que afirma ser parte de uma missão humanitária de resgate em uma ilha próxima, antes de ser capturado por Serpo. O grupo sente novamente os efeitos do sedativo e, após acordar, o personagem do jogador descobre que inexplicavelmente há zumbis por todo o navio. Em meio a uma tempestade, Serpo foge de helicóptero e deixa os sobreviventes para trás. Pouco tempo depois, o navio desgovernado colide contra uma rocha.
O grupo retoma a consciência já na ilha de Palanai, onde são socorridos por Harlow Jordan, uma pesquisadora da OMS, que informa que a infecção zumbi também se espalhou pela ilha. Após salvar um reduto de sobreviventes, o quarteto reencontra Hardy, que acaba revelando os planos de Serpo em destruir o Kuru que originou o surto de zumbis e lançar um ataque nuclear em Palanai para pôr fim à praga e encobrir qualquer evidência.
Por sugestão de Hardy, os imunes e outros sobreviventes decidem ir até a cidade de Henderson, na esperança que a base militar próxima possa oferecer ajuda.

Today I bring you a post from my latest acquisition, the Dead Island Riptide!! It is simply amazing ... Superb graphics, interesting gameplay, lots of blood and breathtaking moments with jumpscares!
Here's a little overview of what the game is:
Riptide takes place immediately after the end of Dead Island, with four immune survivors - former football player Logan Carter, the rapper Sam B, agarçonete the Banoi Hotel Xian Mei and former police officer Purna - landing at a military ship after escaping from the prison island. However, they are immediately seized and forcibly led to a quarantine area, custody of Lt. Col. Samuel Hardy of Australia's military and civilian Frank Serpo. Yerema, native previously redeemed in Dead Island, is separated from the group. The four were taken to the ship, where they are sedated laboratory. After you regain consciousness, they find another immune, former sergeant in the Armed Forces Australian John Morgan, who claims to be part of a humanitarian mission to rescue a nearby island, before being captured by Serpo survivor. The group again feel the effects of the sedative and, after waking up, the player character learns that there are zombies inexplicably throughout the ship. Amid a storm, Serpo flee by helicopter and leaves the survivors back. Shortly thereafter, the runaway ship collides against a rock.
The group resumes consciousness already on the island of Palanai, where they are rescued by Harlow Jordan, a researcher at the WHO reports that the zombie infection also spread to the island. After saving a stronghold of survivors, the quartet reunited Hardy, who has just revealed plans to destroy the Kuru Serpo that led to the outbreak of zombies and launch a nuclear attack on Palanai to end the plague and cover up any evidence.
At the suggestion of Hardy, immune and other survivors decide to go to the city of Henderson, in the hope that the next military base can offer help.
